First Liz Conrad Illustration posting! This piece was awarded an Honorable mention in one of the SCBWI illustration contests, entitled "Favorite Hideout." Prime example of what I call "my" style----controlled collage. Basically it's cut paper....with some pastel....colored pencil....rolled and printed patterns and textures.... Yes, this big kid still loves to make a big mess when creating a piece of art.
